Kenny has been singing for over 25 years. He began singing with his family at the age of five in Jerusalem, Ohio. Kenny sang lead for the southern gospel quartet, Testify for three years. He and his wife Carol have two children, Courtney and Mitchell. Kenny is currently teaching in the Canal Winchester school district in central Ohio. Kenny and his family attend Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church.

Dan Szymczak is originally from Newark, Ohio but has resided in Reynoldsburg, Ohio for the past 18 years. He is married to a wonderful Christian spouse and they have two children, Allie and Zack. Although a church-going person all his life, Dan never really felt the "burden" and call to discipleship like he does with New Mercy. Professionally, Dan is the General agent of an insurance agency.

Doug Myers grew up in a Congregational Christian church and now attends Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Doug grew up in rural Indiana and joined the Army after high school. He attended college in Columbus, Ohio and worked for several years in Washington D.C. Doug is married and has three daughters, he and his family have lived in central Ohio since 1989. He currently works in the computer information systems field.
